SAVANNAH, GA. – Georgia Southern Softball doubleheader at Savannah State has been rained out after heavy rains left the field unplayable. The teams were playing in the bottom of the first when lightning sent the teams to the dugout. After an hour of lightning delay the skies opened up and halted the proceedings. No makeup date has been set, but the coaching staffs will attempt to reschedule the games at a later date.
