Aaron Mizell hit a home run in all but one game last week and tallied a hit in all four games. Mizell finished the week hitting .286 (4 for 14) with four runs scored, five RBI, a double and three home runs. The senior outfielder also walked five times. Mizell plated three runs in the first inning at The Citadel on Tuesday with his third career home run at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park. He also homered in both games of Saturday's doubleheader against Arkansas State. The home run in game one of the doubleheader tied the game at 1-1 in the eighth inning. The long ball in game two tied the game at 2-2 in the sixth inning.

Evan Challenger pitched into the eighth inning in Friday's game against Arkansas State and allowed just one unearned run and five hits. Challenger struck out a career-high seven batters and did not walk anyone. The redshirt-sophomore allowed just five hits and allowed the one run on a passed ball in the seventh inning. Challenger struck out two batters in the first and second innings and punched out Jeremy Brown to start the eighth inning. He worked three perfect innings and faced the minimum in four frames.
