MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – Behind two new career highs in small bore the Georgia Southern women's rifle team finished third overall at SEARC 6 behind a composite score of 4293.
The score was the second highest of the season as the Eagles finished third in small bore (2079) and fourth in air rifle (2214) at the conference meet.
Emmy Johnson and Katherine Youngblood led the way for the Eagles in small bore. Both shot new career highs with Johnson posting a 526 and Youngblood a 521.
Tori Lewis shot a 517 and
Ale Shortridge added a score of 515 to round out the counters.
In air rifle
Tori Lewis posted a team-high score of 564 to lead all Eagle shooters.
Becky Collier shot a 551, and Shortridge was right behind her with a score of 550. Katherine Youngblood rounded out the counters with a score of 549.
The Eagles return to action February 21 at SEARC 7 in Charleston, S.C.
