Georgia Southern meets former Southern Conference rival Appalachian State in the second of two meetings this season.
The Mountaineers won the first contest 77-74 in Hanner Fieldhouse Jan. 29.
The Eagles have lost their last 12 and are coming off an 80-63 home setback to South Alabama Saturday.
Thursday's game starts a stretch in which the Eagles finish the campaign with three of four contests on the road.
Six of the Eagles' last 12 games have been one-possession contests at the under-4 media timeout, and two have gone into overtime.
