CHARLESTON, S.C. – Tori Lewis sets new program records as the Georgia Southern rifle team posted a 4306 aggregate score at SEARC 7.
The meet, which was also an NCAA qualifier, saw the Eagles shoot 2061 in small bore and 2245 in air rifle.
Lewis set new program records in air rifle (580) and composite score (1123) to lead Georgia Southern on the day. Lewis also shot a team best in small bore with a 543.
Kathryn Youngblood shot a 560 in air rifle, while
Ale Shortridge shot a 547 and posted a new career high in small bore (523).
Becky Collier rounded out the Eagles in air rifle with a score of 558.
In small bore,
Emmy Johnson shot a 505 to go along with her 543 in air rifle. Youngblood rounded out the counters for GS in small bore with a 490.
The Eagles return to action March 7 at the SEARC Championships in Charleston, S.C.
