Troy Information:[Stats] [Roster] [Schedule] [@TroyTrojansVB]The Eagles earned a bid to their first Sun Belt Conference Volleyball Championship with a 3-2 victory at Georgia State Saturday. Georgia Southern will host the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Hanner Fieldhouse Nov. 20-22. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting GSEagles.com/SBCVBall. Passes for the entire tournament are available for just $25 for adults and $10 for youth 12-and-under. Single-day passes can be purchased for $10 (adults) or $5 (youth), and students at all Sun Belt Conference schools gain free admission. The top-8 teams in the regular-season standings will be invited to the tournament and battle for the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Georgia Southern's home and regular-season finale is Nov. 13 against Troy in Hanner Fieldhouse. First serve is set for 5 p.m. It's Senior Day, and Georgia Southern will honor seniors

Alex Beecher notched 36 digs against Georgia State to set a new Georgia Southern career record. The redshirt junior has 1,709 for her career, which tops Megan Lippi's total of 1,707 from 2000-03. Beecher, who is ranked ninth in the country in assists, is 52 shy of her own single-season record of 604, set in 2012. It was her third match with 30-plus digs this season and her 12th contest with 20-plus digs.
Hannah Braun stepped into a starting middle role because of injuries and made the most of her first significant action as an Eagle. The freshman averaged 2.38 kills and one block per set last week. She recorded career highs of 14 kills and five blocks at Georgia State and registered five kills and three blocks at Appalachian State.
Crysten Curry collected her 300th career block at UL Lafayette Oct. 16, as she notched six in the match. She ranks seventh in career blocks at Georgia Southern with 314. Her 66 solo blocks ranks ninth, and her 248 block assists ranks sixth.

Katie Bange has nine double-doubles this season, and five of the nine have included double-figure kills.Â

Kat Minnerly ranks fifth on the school's career assist list with 2,788. The senior played in her 100th career match against Chicago State Sept. 12.
