Plans after graduation:I plan on attending nursing school and specializing to become a nurse anesthetist. If I do not enjoy nursing, I will get a masters in education and teach and coach. I want to give back to children just like my past coaches did for me.
What is the hardest part about being a senior?Knowing this is my last go around and my last football season here at Georgia Southern. I am really going to miss this place and the guys I was fortunate enough to call my teammates and brothers.
Who is your biggest inspiration and why?My biggest inspiration is BOTH of my parents. They have never given up on me or my dreams, and keep pushing me to be the best I can possibly be. Also, they have never missed a game since I have been in college, and that just really shows their dedication to being a great parent. I never take them for granted.
Best advice you have ever been given:Don't quit. And never give up!
Favorite Georgia Southern game day tradition:Yellow Dogs
Most memorable moment of your career at Georgia Southern:I have two: 1) The day we beat the Florida Gators and 2) Last season when we finished the conference schedule undefeated and the crowd stormed the field.
Once you're done at Southern, what do you want to be remembered as?I want to be remembered as a guy who had a positive impact on our team. A guy who always hustled and did what he was told. And a man who truly knew what it meant to be True Blue Collar.
What do you want to say to the fans who have watched you play during your time at Georgia Southern? To the fans, thank you for being the greatest sports fans in America. Every single game has been nothing but support, and I do not remember a game where Paulson Stadium was not packed out. Our success as a team is not possible without our fans.
