Quotable from head coach Dustin Wood"We played up and down tonight. There were times in the match where we were lost on the floor and not executing, and there were moments in the match where we were firing on all cylinders. Arkansas State is a very good, consistent team. Hats off to them, but we let them off the hook late in the second and third sets. We fought hard to take the lead, and our lack of executing on the pins hurt us again. We did our job defensively, holding them to .144, but or offense got in the way. If we can figure our offense out, especially on the pins, we will see the wins come. We're regrouping tonight for a huge match tomorrow in Little Rock."Â
Next UpThe Eagles travel to Little Rock Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. Eastern Sun Belt contest.
