STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer goes on the road this weekend for a pair of matches north of the Mason-Dixon Line. The Eagles visit Sun Belt foe NJIT on Friday evening in Newark before hopping across Gotham to face LIU Brooklyn on Sunday afternoon. Georgia Southern has won three of its last four matches entering the weekend and is tied for second place in the Sun Belt standings.

Joshua Mercer has four goals and one assist to pace the NJIT offensive attack.
SCOUTING LIU BROOKLYNThe Blackbirds enter the weekend with an 8-5-2 record and a perfect 5-0 mark in the Northeast Conference. They have won six-straight matches entering this week's matches. Rasmus Hansen has seventeen points this year to lead the LIU Brooklyn offense with seven goals and three assists.
SERIES HISTORYThe Eagles downed the Highlanders 1-0 last year in the first meeting between the programs.
Eric Dinka tallied his fourth goal of the season in the win on Senior Day at Eagle Field. Sunday's match will open the series between the Eagles and LIU Brooklyn.
