STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer closes out a two-match road swing on Tuesday night with a trip to Clemson. The Eagles, who took a famous 2-1 win over the Tigers in 2008, return to the scene of that win for Tuesday's non-conference showdown. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Historic Riggs Field.

SCOUTING THE EAGLESThe Eagles enter the non-conference match on a two-match win streak following Saturday's 2-0 win at Howard.
Nick Wells took over the team lead in points with nine against Howard, lifting his season total to two goals and five assists. Senior
Emmanuel Raji has four goals to pace the Eagles in goal scoring.
SCOUTING THE TIGERSClemson is on a nine-match unbeaten run which includes wins over Duke, Brown, Syracuse and a draw against Wake Forest. The only blemish on the record for the Tigers this season is a 1-0 loss at Notre Dame on Sept. 12. T.J. Casner leads the way for Clemson with six goals and one assist as part of an offense which has outscored opponents 32-9 this year.
LAST MATCH BETWEEN THE PROGRAMSThe Eagles took a 1-1 draw against the Tigers on Oct. 19, 2010. Jon Cox scored his fourth goal of the season to put the Eagles up 1-0, but a 87th minute equalizer from the Tigers sent the match to overtime. No goals in the 20 extra minutes left the match a 1-1 draw.
NEXT UPThe Eagles are back home on Saturday evening for the 2015 GATA Game against former SoCon rival Appalachian State. Kickoff for the first home Sun Belt match of the year is set for 7 p.m.
