WHAT HEAD COACH SANDER KONING SAID
On the tournament so far
"Overall, the guys should be inspired from this tournament. We didn't get the desired results, but they experienced what the level of the top teams in college tennis is and that we have some work to do to consistently play at that level."
On Eddie Landin's and Rise Lanne's play today
"It took Eddie a while to settle in, but he had some good chances in the second set. There a couple of early breaks in the second set, but the opponent was just a little bit cooler under pressure and managed to close out the match.
Rise won both matches in the back draw. He didn't play particularly well, but he dug in and relied on his fundamentals. He has worked hard this fall and was able to keep his mind into the matches. He will play the quarter final tomorrowagainst Nathan Rakkitt of Georgia Tech."
