Patrice Butler Named Preseason All-Sun Belt by CSM

The Eagles open the season with an exhibition game Nov. 10 in Hanner
STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern women's basketball junior Patrice Butler has been named second-team Preseason All-Sun Belt by College Sports Madness, it was announced today.
Butler averaged 12.2 points and 5.5 rebounds a game last season for the Eagles. The junior forward shot 48 percent from the field, 37 percent from 3-point range and 75 percent from the free-throw line. She played 20.1 minutes a game in 27 contests and made 18 starts in her first season with the Eagles after transferring from Furman.
Butler is one of four returning starters for the Eagles, who open their season with an exhibition contest against Coastal Georgia Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. in Hanner Fieldhouse.
Season tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at GSEagles.com/tickets. Season ticket options are available for both general admission and reserved seating. Fans can enjoy chair-back seats in the reserved sections for $90 a season ticket for either men's or women's basketball. Alternatively, general admission season tickets are $65 and are located behind the baskets on bleachers. A combo package is also available for $120 and includes both men's and women's basketball contests.
