Men’s Tennis Travels to Florida For Weekend Matches

Fort Myers, Fla. Home Base For Matches Against FAU and Florida Gulf Coast

Statesboro, Ga. – The Eagles (1-2) return to action this weekend when they travel to Fort Myers, Florida to take on Florida Atlantic University  Saturday and Florida Gulf Coast  Sunday.

Serving It Up
•    In their last match, the Eagles bested Alabama State 6-1 to improve their record to 1-2. 
•    Florida Atlantic (1-3) is coming off a 4-3 defeat at the hands of North Florida
•    Florida Gulf Coast picked up a 7-0 decision over FAMU in their previous match. 
•    Assistant Coach Carlos Oyaga is serving as interim Head Coach following the resignation of former coach Nick Zieziula.

Coach Oyaga's Thoughts
"The team is feeling confident after our first win of the season. All the guys are focused and working hard on what they need to do to keep improving. We are looking forward to competing this weekend in Florida."
