
Vozab Participates in Center for Coaching Excellence

NEW YORK - Georgia Southern women's basketball coach Chris Vozab was one of 36 head women's basketball coaches to participate in the 2014 edition of The Center for Coaching Excellence, an invitation-only, two-and-a-half day elite leadership program at Columbia University.
Dr. Cathie T. Siders, a clinical psychologist, organizational consultant and executive coach, facilitated group-learning sessions. Other sessions featured panel discussions from a wide variety of leaders from both college athletics and other sectors of industry.
"The Center for Coaching Excellence was an invigorating experience for me," said Vozab. "Having the opportunity to learn from some of the best people in our profession is invaluable, and I'm grateful that I was invited to participate. I learned a lot about myself and my leadership style and came away with a variety of innovative ideas that we can incorporate in our program as we move forward."
