Chapman went two for four in the mid-week contest at Kennesaw State before going two for four with a RBI and a run scored in the Furman series opener. Chapman went two for five and stole a bag in Saturday's 1-0 11 inning series win before going 1 for four in the series finale.

Josh Wirsu tossed 6.2 scoreless innings to help the Georgia Southern Eagles post a 6-0 shutout over the Furman Paladins in Friday's series opener. Wirsu scattered four hits and five walks in his first Friday start. The Junior righthander struck out nine batters and improved to 9-3 on the year. Wirsu left the bases loaded twice in the contest and helped the Eagles post their first back-to-back shutouts since 1994.
