30+ WINS PLATEAU
For the third-straight season and the 10th time in program history, Georgia Southern Softball has reached the 30-wins plateau. The Eagles have had four seasons with 30+ wins in the last five years. In 2012 the Eagles set the school record for wins in a single season with a 42-20 record. Georgia Southern enters the final weekend of the regular season with a 32-17 record.

PURVIS WORKING ON BREAKING HER OWN RECORD
Senior pitcher Sarah Purvis is once again closing in on the Georgia Southern single-season strikeouts record. Purvis set the school record in 2012 with 253 strikeouts. Currently Purvis has 239 strikeouts for the season.

2014 Championships Return to Tournament Town
For the second-straight season the Southern Conference Tournament will return to Greensboro, site of the Eagles' back-to-back 11-inning victories last year to capture the tournament title. The 2014 tournament was scheduled to be hosted by Elon, but the Phoenix' departure from the league meant the hosting honors were stripped from the program. Tournament play begins on Wednesday morning with tournament seeds announced on Sunday evening.
