Eagles Fall 6-1 to Samford

BIRMINGHAM, AL.
- Georgia Southern men's tennis was defeated by Samford 6-1 yesterday at the Samford Tennis Center. The Eagles hold a 4-16 record overall and are 3-5 in the SoCon.

The doubles pair of Albert Codina Sala and Christian Kerrigan was victorious at the No. 3 position, defeating Samford's Austin Ferrer and Liam Sullivan, 8-0. Freshman Christian Kerrigan earned his second win of the match, and the Eagles' sole point, in singles play, defeating Austin Ferrer 6-1, 6-0.

The Eagles have two more matches before the Southern Conference Tournament in Chattanooga, TN, on April 16th-19th. On April 9th at 2pm the Eagles face Georgia State, and on April 12th at 1pm they take on The Citadel, both matches at the Wallis Tennis Center.
