CHATTANOOGA, TN.- Georgia Southern women's tennis travels to University of Tennessee Chattanooga this weekend to face the Mocs on Saturday, March 8th at 12pm. Next, they head to Birmingham, AL to battle the Samford Bulldogs on Sunday, March 9th at 11am.

"We are looking forward to another weekend of Southern Conference competition," said head coach Amy Bonner. "We have been working hard this week to prepare and the team had some tough competition mid-week against UNCW that will hopefully help get them ready for some tough competition this weekend. We had two close matches with both of these teams last year and we know we will have to be playing our best tennis to come out on top."

Last time out, the Eagles fought the UNC Wilmington Seahawks and lost 6-0. Due to weather, only singles were played. Some tough and close matches were played, but the Seahawks prevailed, winning all six matches.
