GREENSBORO, NC.- Georgia Southern diver Emma Weisel competed in the 3 meter diving event today at the NCAA Zone B Championships.

"Emma dove well this week," said diving coach David Giambra. "She missed some dives but overall showed that she belonged at the meet showcasing the best divers in the Southeast."

In preliminaries, Emma placed 40th with a score of 222.55. Out of six dives, her average dive score was 37.09. Though she did not qualify for finals, Emma had a quality showing for her first ever appearance at the NCAA Zone Championships.
