Diver Emma Weisel Competes in NCAA Zones

GREENSBORO, NC.- Georgia Southern diver Emma Weisel is set to compete in the NCAA Diving Zone B Championships today, March 10th at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Events are scheduled to begin at 11am.
"Emma looks really strong going into this meet," said diving coach David Giambra. "Emma ended CCSAs on a strong note while setting the school record on the 3m board, and she's carried that momentum into some fantastic diving this past week. She is excited for the meet and I am excited to see how she competes against the best divers in the southeast."
Emma will perform six dives in the 1 meter preliminaries, immediately followed by six dives for the final. Tomorrow, March 11th, Emma will compete in the 3 meter diving events. This marks Emma's first NCAA Zone Championship appearance.
