ATLANTA – Kickoff for Georgia Southern's game at Georgia State on Saturday, October 25
th has been set for 2 p.m. ET at the Georgia Dome. The Eagles and Panthers meet for the first-time ever on the football field as Sun Belt Conference rivals. Tickets for the game are available through the Georgia Southern Ticket Office by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS, online at GSEagles.com/fbtix and by stopping by Cowart Building from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays.
The Eagles are 1-0 in games played at the Georgia Dome, defeating Middle Tennessee State in 1995 as the designated home team. Coach
Willie Fritz is 3-1 in games played in an NFL facility, all three wins coming vs. Stephen F. Austin at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, during his tenure at Sam Houston State.
Prior to the clash between two in-state teams, the Georgia Southern Alumni Relations Office will hold a Game Day Tailgate and BBQ in the Yellow Parking Lot and Marshalling Yard of the Georgia World Congress Center beginning at 11 a.m. Tickets for the event are $12.50 and must be purchased in advance.
