Swimming and Diving Ranked #42 in Mid-Major Rankings

STATESBORO, Ga.- Georgia Southern swimming and diving has been nationally recognized at #42 on CollegeSwimming.com's Mid-Major Ranking.
"This is a great step for our program," said head coach Nathan Kellogg. "It is a testament to the continuing hard work by our swimmers and divers, as well as the commitment to our vision, in which Georgia Southern gains national recognition."
Columbia's women lead the list at #1. The Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com Rankings are the only objective ranking of swimming for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA. The rankings utilize a point system based on NCAA time standards, predicted qualifying times and percentile rankings from the past four seasons.
Conference opponent Liberty is ranked at #23, who the Eagles face this upcoming weekend at the CCSA Duals in Davidson, NC.
