Emma Weisel Earns CCSA Diver of the Week

STATESBORO, Ga.- Georgia Southern diver Emma Weisel has been selected as Diver of the Week by the CCSA for the week of January 20-26. This is Emma's first Diver of the Week honor of the season.
Last week against Gardner-Webb and North Florida, Emma's 3-meter score qualified her for the NCAA Zones in March. Weisel placed first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives, with scores of 251.55 and 274.72. To win the event she posted her NCAA Zone qualifying score of 286.60 on the 3-meter dive. She also claimed a second place finish on the 1-meter dive with a score of 238.27.
This is the second week in a row that an Eagle has been selected for this honor.

The Eagles next event is Friday, January 31st through Saturday, February 1st at Davidson College in Davidson, NC.
