Men's Tennis Announces New Player for the Fall

STATESBORO, Ga.- Georgia Southern men's tennis is pleased to announce that Joan Carles Alcala Llinares has signed a grant in aid with the Eagles. He will be joining the team in the fall of 2014. He is currently ranked #227 in the men's national open rankings of Spain and he has been as high as #201.
"We are very excited to have Joan Carles joining our ball club next fall," said head coach Nick Zieziula. "Joan Carles has a great attacking game that is going to be very effective on the hard courts of college tennis. Most importantly, he has a very mature and professional attitude which will help propel his game once he gets into our system. He will fit in well with the culture of our team."
The Eagles are looking forward to having Joan Carles join the team in the fall.
Currently the Eagles are 0-2 for the season. Their next match is February 1st at University of Central Florida at 11am.
