¦ Georgia Southern continues its three-game league homestand against Elon Monday at 7 p.m.
¦ It's the first of two scheduled meetings against the Phoenix this season.
¦ Georgia Southern is 3-4 in its last seven with all three wins coming in league play. The Eagles are coming off a 74-71 win over UNCG at home Saturday.
¦ The Eagles are 3-3 in Hanner Fieldhouse this season.
¦ Junior Anna Claire Knight leads GSU in scoring at 15.4 points a game and has scored in double figures in 13 of the last 14 outings. She recorded the first triple-double in program history and the 11th in the country this season with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists at Samford Jan. 6.
¦ MiMi DuBose, who is averaging 10.6 points a contest, enters the game third in all-time 3-pointers (162) at Georgia Southern, five away from first, held by Svetlana Trjeskal (1995-99). The senior scored 16 points at Chattanooga Jan. 4 to top the 1,000-point mark for her career. She is two games played away from 100 for her career.
¦ Senior Lacie Dowling averages 9.4 points a game, and sophomore Briana Jones is averaging 7.9 points and 8.6 rebounds and has four double-doubles this season.
¦ Senior Danielle Spencer is tied for the team lead in rebounding with 8.6 a game and played in her 100th career contest at Chattanooga Jan. 4.
¦ Elon has lost its last four and is coming off a 67-62 setback at Davidson Saturday.
¦ The Phoenix are 1-6 on the road and 0-2 in road league games.
¦ Kelsey Harris leads the team in scoring at 12.7 points per game to go along with 4.9 rebounds a contest.
¦ Zora Stephenson averages 11.3 points and shoots 40 percent from 3-point range.
¦ Elon was picked to finish fifth in the preseason SoCon Coaches Poll, and Harris was selected preseason all-conference.
¦ Kelsey Evans, who graduated from Elon in 2013 and posted over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds for the Phoenix, is attending graduate school at Georgia Southern and pursuing a degree in kinesiology.

¦ The Eagles lead the all-time series, which began in the 2003-04 season when the Phoenix joined the SoCon, 11-10, but Elon has won the last four.
¦ GSU is 7-3 against Elon in Hanner Fieldhouse but has lost the last two.
¦ Last meeting and last meeting in Hanner (3/4/13): Kelsey Evans scored a career high 31 points, and Elon shot 56 percent from the field to earn a 76-65 victory over Georgia Southern.
¦ Anna Claire Knight matched her career high with 24 points to go along with nine rebounds to lead Georgia Southern. Meredyth Frye scored 16 points, and Danielle Spencer netted 10.
¦ Evans was 14-of-17 from the floor and corralled five rebounds for Elon. Ali Ford and Kelsey Harris each scored nine, while Harris contributed seven rebounds and five assists.
¦ Georgia Southern whittled a 14-point Elon cushion down to eight points, following a pair of Spencer free throws with 7:28 to go, and had possession of the ball. But the Eagle offense came up empty, and Evans scored on a layup at the other end for the Phoenix.
¦ After GSU missed on another trip down the floor, Jessica Farmer hit a baseline jumper to push the margin back to 12. The Eagles were unable to get to within single digits for the rest of the contest.

¦ Danielle Spencer has two double-doubles this season. The senior had 12 points and 12 rebounds against Jacksonville State (11/16) and 12 points and 17 rebounds at Jacksonville (11/24).
¦ Spencer notched her 400th career rebound at Mercer (12/4) and played in her 100th career game at Chattanooga (1/4).
¦ Lacie Dowling tied the school record with eight 3-pointers against Detroit (11/30) and scored a career-high 26 points in the game. She shares the record with Allie Rousseau, who notched eight triples vs. Appalachian State Feb. 8, 2000. The performance helped Dowling earn all-tournament honors at the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament.
¦ Dowling has played in every game this season and started the last 14.
¦ Anna Claire Knight is 240 points away from 1,000 and 65 rebounds away from 400 for her career. The junior has two career double-doubles and has started the last 31 contests.
¦ Sophomore Briana Jones, who sat out last season after transferring from James Madison, has four double-doubles in her first campaign playing for the Eagles. She has started every game.
¦ Senior Jordi Cook is three games played away from 100 for her career. She was one of three Eagles to play in all 31 games in 2012-13.
¦ Sierra Kirkland scored a career high 11 points at Chattanooga (1/4). The sophomore has played in every game in her career.
¦ MiMi DuBose has played in 80 straight games and made 76 consecutive starts.
¦ The Eagles' 79 points against Detroit (11/30) are the most they have scored since posting 80 in an 87-80 home setback to Chattanooga Dec. 4, 2010. GSU's 11 triples in the contest are the most since hitting 11 against Davidson Jan. 8, 2010. The Eagles also scored 79 points against Wofford (12/16).
¦ The Eagles improved to 29-9 in home openers with their 63-50 win over Jacksonville State Nov. 16.
¦ The Eagles are 49-33 in Hanner Fieldhouse in the last seven seasons.
¦ For the first time in four seasons, Georgia Southern opened conference play at home.
¦ Since the 2010-11 season, Georgia Southern has five losses by one point and 14 losses by five points or less.
