Women’s Tennis Hosts Savannah State on Saturday

STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern Women’s Tennis team will host Savannah State on Saturday in their last regular season home match of the year. The Eagles start doubles play at 2:30 p.m. at the Hanner Tennis Complex.
The Eagles (3-6, 1-2 SoCon) are coming off a big conference win against Wofford on March 3. The Eagles swept the doubles point with three wins before winning five out of six singles matches.
The Tiger’s last match was a 4-0 loss against Norfolk State University, giving them a 2-7 overall and 0-5 conference record on the year.
After Saturday’s match, the Eagles have four away matches in the week of March 16-17 before hosting five conference opponents in the following weeks to close out their home slate.
