¦ After an eight-day break for exams, Georgia Southern plays its final Southern Conference game of the calendar year when the Eagles take on Wofford in Hanner Fieldhouse Monday at 7 p.m.
¦ GSU is 1-2 in Hanner Fieldhouse this season.
¦ The Eagles are 1-5 in their last six and coming off a 67-62 setback to Furman Dec. 7.
¦ Junior Anna Claire Knight leads GSU in scoring at 15.1 points a game and has scored in double figures in the last seven outings.
¦ MiMi DuBose, who is averaging 10.6 points a contest, enters the game third in all-time 3-pointers (151) at Georgia Southern, 16 away from first, held by Svetlana Trjeskal (1995-99). The senior is 44 points away from 1,000 for her career. DuBose is nine games played away from 100 for her career.
¦ Sophomore Briana Jones is averaging 8.1 points and 9.8 rebounds, while senior Danielle Spencer is averaging 9.7 rebounds to go along with 6.4 points.
¦ Wofford has lost its last two contests and is coming off a 68-57 setback at Gardner-Webb Saturday.
¦ Jordan Frazier leads the team in scoring with 14.3 points a game and averages 4.4 steals a contest, which ranks second in the country. Logan Morris averages 10 points and 4.9 rebounds, and Lauren Kirby averages nine points and 5.6 rebounds.
¦ The Terriers average 9.9 steals and force 22.4 turnovers a contest.
¦ Wofford is 0-5 on the road this season.

¦ Last meeting: Meredyth Frye scored 17 points to go over 1,000 for her career, and Georgia Southern held off a late run by Wofford to earn a 68-59 win over the Terriers in Benjamin Johnson Arena Feb. 23, 2013.
¦ Anna Claire Knight scored 24 points and added five rebounds to lead the Eagles, and Alexis Sams scored 11. MiMi DuBose and Danielle Spencer each scored eight, and Spencer corralled eight rebounds.
¦ Daniella Motley led Wofford with 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Rachel Brittenham scored 12. Morgan Wrightson netted nine points.
¦ The Eagles led by 16 points following a DuBose layup with 6:13 to go, but Wofford used a 12-2 run over 4:51 of game time to trim the margin to six points with 1:22 remaining. Knight was fouled on a fast-break layup attempt and hit a free throw to push the lead to seven, and the Eagle defense came away with two stops. Spencer and Sams each hit a pair from the free-throw line to seal the win.
¦ Last meeting in Hanner: Knight drained a 3-pointer from the wing as the buzzer sounded to lift Georgia Southern to a 61-58 victory over Wofford Jan. 20, 2013.
¦ The Eagles inbounded the ball under their own basket with 1.6 seconds to go. Knight came off a screen on the left wing, set her feet and her shot hit nothing but net.
¦ Wofford overcame a 55-45 deficit in the last five minutes as Erin Frost hit two 3-pointers, and Jordan Frazier tied the game on a triple from the wing with 32 seconds left. Knight had a baseline jumper blocked but got her own rebound and Georgia Southern called timeout. With the shot clock winding down, Sams grazed the rim on a drive to the hoop and retrieved the ball in a tie-up, setting the stage for the game-winning play.
¦ Knight finished with 16 points to lead the Eagles, and DuBose tallied 12 points and six rebounds. Frye scored 11 points, and Jordi Cook added nine. The Eagles shot 42 percent from the floor and matched a season low with 11 turnovers.
¦ Motley posted 22 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals for the Terriers. Brittenham finished with eight points and eight rebounds, and Frazier scored nine and added three assists.

¦ Danielle Spencer has two double-doubles this season. The senior had 12 points and 12 rebounds against Jacksonville State (11/16) and 12 points and 17 rebounds at Jacksonville (11/24).
¦ Spencer notched her 400th career rebound at Mercer (12/4) and is four games played away from 100.
¦ Lacie Dowling tied the school record with eight 3-pointers against Detroit (11/30) and scored a career-high 26 points in the game. She shares the record with Allie Rousseau, who notched eight triples vs. Appalachian State Feb. 8, 2000. The performance helped Dowling earn all-tournament honors at the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament.
¦ Anna Claire Knight is 351 points away from 1,000 and 105 rebounds away from 400 for her career.
¦ Sophomore Briana Jones, who sat out last season after transferring from James Madison, has three double-doubles in her first campaign playing for the Eagles.
¦ The Eagles' 79 points against Detroit (11/30) are the most they have scored since posting 80 in an 87-80 home setback to Chattanooga Dec. 4, 2010. GSU's 11 triples in the contest are the most since hitting 11 against Davidson Jan. 8, 2010.
¦ The Eagles improved to 29-9 in home openers with their 63-50 win over Jacksonville State Nov. 16.
¦ The Eagles are 47-32 in Hanner Fieldhouse in the last seven seasons.
¦ For the first time in four seasons, Georgia Southern will open conference play at home.
¦ Since the 2010-11 season, Georgia Southern has five losses by one point and 14 losses by five points or less.
