STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern Athletics has released the 2013-14 women's basketball promotional schedule, which will begin at the first home game Nov. 16, against Jacksonville State.
Promotions will start off with the canned food drive and Junior Eagle Club Day at the tripleheader, beginning at the 3 p.m. volleyball game, followed by women's (5:30 p.m.) and men's basketball games (8 p.m.). A Kids Zone with an inflatable bounce house as well as other fun games will be available in the Hanner back gym for all Junior Eagle Club Days, which will are scheduled for all Saturday home contests.
To finish the 2013 calendar year, promotions include the GATA game (Dec. 7) and Toys for Tots (Dec. 16). The GATA game will have all Georgia Southern student-athletes in attendance. Toys for Tots night encourages fans to bring a toy for a discounted ticket price.
The new year will start with a doubleheader that will promote Alumni Day and the Junior Eagle Club with a 2 p.m. men's game and 4:30 p.m. women's game on Saturday, Jan. 11.
Faculty and Staff Night will be Friday, Jan. 17, and all Georgia Southern University faculty and staff gain free admission. There will be a Blue Out at the women's basketball game against Chattanooga Feb. 3, and the annual Pack the House in Pink doubleheader will be Feb. 22 starting at the men's basketball game at 2 p.m., followed by the women's game at 4:30 p.m.
