Season Series: The two teams participated in the North Georgia Invitational earlier this season in Griffin, Ga. The Nighthawks finished first in that event with a score of 2266, while the Eagles where third with a score of 2133. Saturday's meeting is the first of two this season between the schools in Dahlonega, Ga. are both are dual-match meets.
Big Story: Georgia Southern picked up its first win in program history their last time out and returns to action after a week off. The Eagles defeated Wofford 2234-2232 in Charleston, S.C. a day after falling to The Citadel 2227-2201. GSU has improved its team score in each of the last two matches and will look to do so again on Saturday in their march with North Georgia.

Georgia Southern (1-2) – Coach: Tim Parks
Georgia Southern posted a team-high 2234 score in its last match against Wofford on Oct. 27. Tori Lewis improved her season-best by nearly twenty points and shot a team-best 568 against the Terriers. Kathryn Youngblood is averaging a score of 558.25 over her first four matches. Youngblood shot a 567 her last time out against Wofford.
North Georgia (0-0) – Coach: Tori Kostecki
North Georgia has finished first in four of their seven tournaments on the season. The Nighthawks shot a 2246 at the Southeast Air Rifle Conference event at Wofford College last Saturday. Ruthanne Conner and Kyle Bailey tied for the team best with a score of 567.
