STATESBORO, Ga. - Join Eagle Nation to send off the Georgia Southern volleyball team Wednesday morning at the main entrance of Hanner Fieldhouse. The Eagles are headed to the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in school history, and the team bus will pull out at 8 a.m.
Georgia Southern will take on Florida State in the first round Thursday, Dec. 5, at 5 p.m. The contest will be played in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center on the campus of the University of Florida.
It will be the Eagles' first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2010, when they lost 3-1 to Florida State in the first round. The Eagles are still searching for the program's first NCAA Tournament win. The winner of the match between the Eagles and Seminoles will take on the winner of the match featuring the host Gators and Jacksonville Friday at 7 p.m.
Georgia Southern earned the Southern Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by defeating Samford 3-1 in the league's tournament title game.

Tickets for the NCAA First & Second Rounds in Gainesville will go on sale at 8:30 a.m. Monday morning (Dec. 2) online and at the Gator Ticket Office, located between Gates 1 & 2 of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
All-Session: $10.00 for Adults, $6 for students & senior citizens; $5 children 12 & under.
Single-Session: $7 Adults; $5 for students & senior citizens; $4 children 12 & under.
