STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Men's Soccer continues its four-match homestand on Saturday night when the Wofford Terriers come to Eagle Field. GSU enters the weekend at 4-5-0 on the year and dropped its SoCon opener last week to Davidson at the friendly confines.

Wofford enters the weekend tied with Davidson on three points in the league table and a 5-3-1 overall mark.
Georgia Southern looks to go back over the .500 mark at home this season with a win on Saturday night. The Eagles are 2-2 at Eagle Field this season including a 2-1 overtime win over Presbyterian College that garnered the Eagles some national attention.

Neal Bates had been exceptional in goal this season for the Eagles with 59 saves through the first nine games of the season. He ranks second nationally in total saves, fifth in saves per game and 21st in save percentage at .843. Bates is in the top-100 of goals against average with a 1.196 mark.
Georgia Southern's offense has 12 goals this season and is led by a trio of scorers with three goals each.

Witt Carlisle lead the team in scoring while Carlisle has two assists to lead the squad in total points.
Wofford makes its second trip to Statesboro after the Terriers opened the season in the SoCon/Big South Challenge. The Terriers went 0-2 in the tournament with a 5-4 loss to Gardner-Webb in the opener and a 2-1 loss to Winthrop two days later.
Connor Davis has seven goals this season to lead the Terriers and rank eighth nationally. Billy Padula has six assists this season and ranks fifth in Division I.
The Eagles will have the better part of a week off before facing Georgia State next Friday. The "Pity the Kitty" match starts at 5 p.m. from Eagle Field.
