Thanks in part to firing a second-round 67, Eagle junior
Scott Wolfes won individual medalist honors at the Invitational a year ago, finishing at 4-over par. It was his first collegiate tournament win.
Will Evans has gotten off to a hot start for the Eagles this season after posting top-five finishes in his first two events. Senior
Hayden Anderson, who played in all 12 tournaments for the Eagles last season, will be in the lineup for the first time this fall. Classmate
Drew Guffey will compete as an independent in his first tournament action of the season.
Florida returns as the two-time defending tournament champion after battling windy conditions in last year's final round, where the field averaged an 80.48, the highest of the tournament. The Gators carded a three-round score of 882 (+18).
Along with Florida and Georgia Southern, host College of Charleston and No. 17-ranked South Florida will battle The Ocean Course for the second year in a row. Georgia enters the tournament as the highest-ranked team in the field at No. 5 in the nation in the latest Golf World/Nike Golf Coaches Division I Poll.
