Women's Basketball Staff Contacts Eagle Nation

STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern women's basketball coaching staff reached out to Eagle Nation in a special phone blitz Wednesday evening.
The staff, including head coach Chris Vozab, conversed with supporters throughout the evening and discussed the upcoming season, which opens Nov. 9, at Auburn.
"It's exciting to be able to reach out to Eagle Nation and share our enthusiasm about the development of our program," said Vozab. "We wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to personally invite some of our supporters to Hanner Fieldhouse for basketball season."
Women's basketball season tickets are $65, and Georgia Southern University faculty and staff receive a $10 discount.
The Eagles play their home opener against Jacksonville State Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m., in a tripleheader with the Eagle volleyball and men's basketball teams. Cal State Northridge (11/19), Furman (12/7), Wofford (12/16) and George Mason (12/30) are the other games in Hanner Fieldhouse this November and December, and the Eagles will play seven Southern Conference games at home in the second half of the season.
