Men’s Soccer 2013 Spring Schedule Announced

STATESBORO, GA. – Georgia Southern Men’s Soccer will play a nine-match spring schedule over six days starting on February 24th, 2013. The Eagles, who reached the SoCon Semifinals last season, open spring play in February with a pair of home matches on February 24th against Mercer and North Georgia.
GSU’s annual face-off against the USL First Division Charleston Battery is on Tuesday, March 5th from Blackbaud Stadium in Charleston starting at 8 p.m. Four days later, Georgia Southern faces Northwestern and Clemson at Historic Riggs Field.
After nearly a month off, the Eagles will return to action for the final road test of the spring season against South Carolina on April 3rd at 8:30 p.m.
Georgia Southern is then back at home for the final two dates of the spring season. The 2013 Alumni Game is on Saturday, April 6th starting at 2 p.m. from Eagle Field. The spring finale is one week later as the Eagles face SCAD on Sunday, April 14th at 1 p.m.
