STATESBORO, Ga. - This summer the Georgia Southern Men's Soccer program is offering four youth soccer camps across Georgia. The camps, run by the Georgia Southern coaching staff, provide an opportunity for players to improve their technical skills, tactical awareness and match fitness in a competitive environment.
The summer's first camp is a commuter day camp which runs from June 11th through the 15th at Statesboro High School. The camp is designed for high school boys and girls and runs each day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Players will receive lunch each day and a camp t-shirt.
There are two sessions of the Elite Camps, the first in Augusta, Ga. on June 25th through 28th. The second session runs from June 29th through July 1st in Atlanta. The Georgia Southern Coaching Staff will be joined by coaches from a number of other universities at both camps. Elite campers will be placed in an environment where they will train and play at a higher level as well as experience training techniques that will develop quickness and speed.
The summer's final camp is a Residential Camp on the Georgia Southern campus. This three day-four night program, running July 12th through 15th, is the total soccer experience for players at all levels. The camp provides a balanced technical, tactical, physical and psychological training experience where improvement is the main focus. There are two training sessions each day with games each evening.
