Media Names Knight to All-Freshman Squad

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - After a strong finish to the season, Anna Claire Knight was selected to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team by the SoCon's Media Association. The Dublin, Ga., native wrapped up the 2011-12 regular season with nine points at Furman and averaged 5.8 for the season.
Knight scored a season-high 11 points at Wofford on January 30th and tallied a season-best six rebounds three times, including in the win over Western Carolina on January 21st.
Georgia Southern opens the 2012 Southern Conference Tournament against Western Carolina at 2 p.m. today.
