"It was a total team effort today, and all five guys shot 73 or better in one of the two rounds," said Georgia Southern coach Larry Mays. "This is what we've been looking for, and it's great to see our hard work pay off. We talked last night about playing as a team, and we did a good job of that today. We really hung in there in the second round, and I think the wind got the best of some of the teams out there."
