After two weeks of practice head coach Amy Bonner is eager to see her team compete for the first time this season. "We have really hit the ground running this school year with two weeks of practice under our belts," said Bonner. "This will be a great tournament to see how we look for the upcoming year."
The Eagles are coming off a 2010-11 season where they advanced to the Southern Conference Quarterfinals, winning a match at the conference championships for the first time since 2008. With the departure of three seniors from last year's team, the fall schedule will play an important role as the team prepares for conference play next spring. "I will be able to get an idea of what we need to work on and how to develop each player and doubles team before the spring," said Bonner.
