Men's Tennis Signs Oliver Webb

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Head Men's Tennis Coach Nick Zieziula announced the addition of Oliver Webb to the 2011-12 Eagle roster today (July 12th). Webb, a transfer from Florida Atlantic, played to an 11-8 record in dual match play and posted 15 wins overall in his freshman season for the Owls.
"We have a lot of talent coming in with this recruiting class," said Head Coach Nick Zieziula. "Oliver adds to our depth of talent, but he also brings in a full year of collegiate experience and success against many nationally ranked programs. We are very excited about this addition and can't wait to get fall training started."
Webb, a native of London, England, is a Business major who studied previously at Schiller International. He joins the Eagle recruiting class which was ranked No. 25 in the nation by TennisRecruiting.net among mid-major programs. Previously announced signees include: Daniel Rush (Orange Park, Fla.), Kyle Hoffman (Sarasota, Fla.), Andrew Dromsky (Augusta, Ga.) and Albert Codina Sala (Manresa, Spain).
