MiMi DuBose Named to SoCon All-Freshman Team

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Women's Basketball's MiMi DuBose (Jefferson, Ga.) was named to the Southern Conference All-Freshman Team by both the media and the coaches. The redshirt-freshman is third on the team in scoring with 10.2 points per game.
DuBose helped the Lady Eagles set a program record for made threes and was second on the team with 40 treys. She scored 20 or more points in back-to-back wins against Appalachian State and Western Carolina. The freshman guard helped Georgia Southern defeat the Mountaineers with a career-best 25 points in the 73-65 win on January 10th.
DuBose missed nine games towards the end of the season, but returned in the finale and will look to make a splash in the Southern Conference Tournament. The Lady Eagles open the SoCon Tournament against Western Carolina on Thursday, March 3rd. at 1 p.m.
