Georgia Southern Defeats Chattanooga 77-69

STATESBORO, Ga. -- The Georgia Southern Lady Eagles defeated Chattanooga in overtime, 77-69, at Hanner Fieldhouse. Chattanooga's Kylie Lambert hit a 3-pointer as time expired to send the game into overtime but a 10-3 run propelled the Lady Eagles to a 73-67 lead with 35-seconds left. Two successful free-throw shots by Jamie Navarro (Naples, Fla.) and Krista Tate (Atlanta, Ga.) helped seal the win for the Lady Eagles.
