STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern Athletics introduces a documentary series for 2010-2011 entitled "A Day in the Life," inviting viewers into the lives of Georgia Southern student-athletes. Each segment will follow a different student-athlete from various Georgia Southern teams throughout the year.
Viewers will have a first-hand experience in seeing the Eagles manage both their school and personal life, while also trying to balance the commitment of playing a collegiate sport. Some student-athletes may be followed on practice days while others may be followed on a game day. While most fans see the student-athletes on the playing field, "A Day in the Life," shows them in the classroom, when they prepare for competition as well as how they spend any free time.
The first installment of "A Day in the Life" follows women's soccer midfielder Morgan Springer (Mandeville, La.). Cameras follow Springer from the time she leaves her apartment at 6:30 in the morning until her Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting that night. Interviews with Springer give insight to her personal characteristics, determination and love for Georgia Southern.
"A Day in the Life of Morgan Springer" on Eagle Vision. Releases of new "A Day in the Life" segments will vary due to production time.
