Statesboro, Ga. -- Georgia Southern's 2009 football season includes games at North Carolina and Appalachian State and tickets for those away games will be available for Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation donors and Eagle football season ticket holders. The number of tickets available for purchase for donors or season ticket holds is based on Priority Points rankings. Priority Points statements and order information were mailed to donors and season ticket holds in mid-July. Ticket eligibility information for the away games at UNC and Appalachian State is based on an individual's Priority Points and the number of tickets that may be ordered is indicated on the form.  Priority Points were calculated based on pre-determined criteria which included current year's donation (if applicable), consecutive membership years (if applicable), cumulative season ticket purchases for football, men's basketball and baseball, and possible points for donor referrals.

Ticket applications and orders for those games will be collected until close of business on August 7, 2009. Game tickets for UNC are $52.50 each and $29.50 for Appalachian State, which includes the processing and mailing fees. Credit card payment is the only accepted form of payment allowed for these away game ticket orders. Forms and payment information may be mailed to the Georgia Southern Athletics Ticket Office at P.O. Box 8115-01, Statesboro, Georgia, 30460 or dropped off in person at the Cowart Building located adjacent to Paulson Stadium on Lanier Drive.

After the August 7 deadline has passed, orders will be filled using the Priority Points system to determine availability and seating location. Credit cards will be charged only if ticket orders are fulfilled and tickets for the away games will be mailed Sept. 7, 2009.
