Streetmon Named Pitcher of the Month for April

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Brianna Streetmon (Winder, Ga.) was named pitcher of the month for her performance in April. The Sophomore pitcher went 6-3 with a 1.04 ERA in ten starts.
Streetmon struck out 33 batters and held opposing hitters to a .194 batting average for the month.
The Winder native won three straight games to start the month off on the right foot. She shut out Samford in both starts against the Bulldogs, holding them to four hits in both games.
Streetmon helped the Eagles take #8 Georgia to extra innings, allowing only two runs in regulation but picked up the loss after a walk-off double in the eighth inning won the game for the Bulldogs. Streetmon struck out seven Georgia hitters and pitched a career high 160 pitches.
