USC Upstate Doubleheader Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

STATESBORO, GA ? Due to inclement weather forecasts, the tennis doubleheader scheduled for Sunday, March 1 against USC Upstate has been postponed. Both teams are in negotiation to reschedule the matches at a later date.
The women's tennis team was set to face off against USC Upstate at 11 a.m. The Eagles boast an overall record of 6-4 and 1-1 in Southern Conference play. Georgia Southern returns to action on March 6 hosting Evansville in a non-conference match. First serve at the Hanner Tennis Complex is slated for 10 a.m. on Friday.
The men's tennis team (4-2), originally set for a first serve of 2 p.m. against USC Upstate, returns to action when they open conference play on Friday, March 6. First serve against Appalachian State in Statesboro is set for 2:30 p.m.
