Georgia Southern Finished Third in the CCSA Championships

STATESBORO, Ga. ? Swimming & diving finished third in the CCSA Championships Saturday in Athens, Ga.

 

The Eagles finished third in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:34.87.

 

Lauren Parr (Canton, Ohio) finished first in the 200 yard IM consolation with a time of 2:07.12. Parr finished second in the 400 yard IM with a time of 4:25.75.

 

Courtney Martz (Woodbine, Ga.) won the 50 yard freestyle preliminaries with a time of 23.61. Martz finished fourth in the finals.

 

The Eagles' 200 yard medley relay team finished third with a time of 1:45.00.  

 

Georgia Southern finished in the top four spots in the 100 yard butterfly consolation.

 

Martz and Lindsay Goodman (Knoxville, Tenn.) finished in fourth and fifth place in the 100 yard backstroke. Goodman finished fourth in the 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:03.92.

 

The Eagles finished third in the 800 yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:36.51.

 

Ali Campbell (Fort McMurray, Alberta) finished fifth in the 1650 freestyle with a time of 17:08.53.
