PHOENIX, Ariz. - College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its Fall Academic All-American Teams today, and Georgia Southern made the list with a 3.38 GPA. Swimming & Diving's GPA was the 18th highest GPA in Division I.
The Lady Eagles are 6-8 this season after defeating Campbell January 31st.
The swimming & diving team landed three members on the President's List which features students earning a 4.0 GPA. Members on the list include Caroline Bevillard (Bishop, Ga.), Ali Campbell (Fort McMurray, Alberta) and Nikki Hutchison (Kennesaw, Ga.).
Georgia Southern also placed six Lady Eagles on the Dean's List which honors those students who earned a 3.5 to 3.9 GPA.
Marshall led all of Division I with a 3.64 GPA.
Swimming & diving returns to the pool in Athens, Ga. February 19 at the CCSA Championships.
