BOULDER, Colo. – In the second game of the Omni Hotels Classic, Meredyth Frye set a career-high in three-pointers made, draining three, en route to setting a personal best 10 points. Carolyn Whitney added another three from beyond the arc, but the six treys from Georgia Southern were not enough as University of New Orleans came away with a 50-39 win on the final day of the Omni Hotels Classic (November 28). Georgia Southern, on a four-game losing streak, fell to 1-4, while UNO improved to 3-2.

Whitney's trip to the line sparked the Lady Eagles as Krista Tate (Atlanta, Ga.) scored the first field goal for Georgia Southern seconds before Whitney drained her first three of the game, pushing the score to 11-7.
Buckets from Logan Youngblood (Sylvester, Ga.) and Candice Ivy (Roswell, Ga.) intermixed with field goals from Candice McGee and Mirjam Sipos set the score at 15-11 with 5:34 remaining in the opening frame.
