Swimming & Diving Completes Day Two Finals

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Georgia Southern swimming and diving team picked up points in the 200 Medley Relay, 800 Free Relay and the 100 Breast.
The Eagles finished 11th in the 200 Medley Relay with a season-high time of 1:48.68. The B squad placed 20th with a time of 1:51.29.
The Eagles' 800 Free Relay team finished seventh with a time of 7:42.92.
Lauren Parr (Canton, Ohio) finished 17th in the 400 IM and improved on her prelim time. Parr finished with a mark of 4:29.12.
Ashley White (Charlotte, N.C.) got the Eagles five points with a 12th place finish in the 100 Breast. White finished with a time of 1:06.99.
Parr, Caitlin Martin (Lilburn, Ga.) and Courtney Martz (Woodbine, Ga.) all competed in the finals of the 100 Fly. Parr finished 17th with a time of 57.80. Martin and Martz finished back-to-back in 21st and 22nd places. Martin swam the event in a time of 58.51, and Martz finished in 58.57 seconds.
Martz also swam the 100 Back and finished with a time of 59.08.
