Swimming & Diving Faces Campbell in Final Home Meet

STATESBORO, Ga. - Georgia Southern's swimming & diving team (5-8) will hold its final home meet of the season against Campbell (5-5) Saturday at noon. The Lady Eagles are planning to honor their seniors at the meet. This year's seniors include: Kristin Butts (Woodstock, Ga.), Katie Creighton (Snellville, Ga.), Nikki Hutchison (Kennesaw, Ga.), Courtney McCarthy (Savannah, Ga.) and Katelyn Woolfolk (Satellite Beach, Fla.).
The Lady Eagles look to get back on the winning track after a 119-177 loss to North Florida last Saturday.
Georgia Southern has faced Campbell twice this season. The Camels won the first meeting 51-44. The Lady Eagles also faced Campbell in the Davidson Invitational and finished ahead of them for a sixth place finish overall.
The Camels are winless on the road this season, but they are coming off of a 139-50 victory over North Carolina A&T last Friday. Ashlyn Stumpf and Kelly Mullican each won two events in the meet with the Aggies. Mary Beth Dellinger also broke her career high in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:31.86.
The Lady Eagles will travel to Athens, Ga. next to participate in the CCSA Championships which starts on February 19th.
